User registration

So thanks to Jess I discovered a little quirk here since I upgraded to MT4. If you previously commented using Typekey then you may have had a problem trying to register here now (Movable Type now has built in registration so you don’t have to use typekey if you don’t want to). I’ve cleared out the database entries so if anyone previously tried to register but received “a user with that name already exists” then you should be able to register now if you so choose. Otherwise typekey still works as do LiveJournal logins, OpenID and Vox logins.
Let me know of any wonkiness you encounter.

I have the anti-quirk here: I have had no problems since you upgraded (I was previously having to sign into Typekey, and fill in all my info, AND wait for approval).

Ironically, now I’m being held for approval. But I wasn’t the other day.

It could be because I initially had you as a “trusted” commenter but I had to completely clear out the database to fix the other problem. I would mark you as trusted agaon but your last two comments didn’t appear to have a name or email, just a URL.
    I hope I haven’t borked something good!

testing. I’m signed into typekey, but it doesn’t seem to be providing my name.

well crap. I must have borked something then…

Well I’m confused. I could comment both as myself and as Jess when signed into Typekey. I made a brand new typekey with a completely different name (just to make it was a name not used in any of my MT accounts anywhere) and it worked too. Dude I am baffled.
I manually edited your last comment to add your name and email to see i that does something wacky.
