Year of hazy funk
The weight of memories builds
Look to the future

Why poke the soreness?
Perhaps because bitter-sweet
Was once only sweet

I need a jersey
However, I don’t like sports
So pick an option

Unreasonable
Concede to my demands now
For I am a god

One of the good ones
You’ll be missed more than you know
We shall meet again

The world keeps spinning
While I remain weighted down
Throw off my own past

The duality
Inspiration, frustration
Nature of the muse

Be free little song
Fly off and please people’s ears
They grow up so fast
